Donna + Samer

Donna and Samer were one of my favorite couple to shoot. The ceremony at Bobak’s Signature Event was perfectly timed with a perfect environment for the romantic yet understated event that Donna and Samer planned. It’s very rare for me to be able to capture an outdoor ceremony at this place, and I am elated when I’m able to as we have so much more to play with in terms of light, and freedom of movement to capture the moments. I try to capture the connection between a couple, whether that be fun or romantic or relaxed, and Donna and Samer certainly had a passionate but beautifully graceful and understated way between them. I loved the portraits we were able to do in the beautiful gardens at Cantigny Park. The day was also filled with laughter, with some of the best vows I’ve ever heard and a very fun wedding party. Thanks, as well, to the great team of the day with many of my favorite vendors on hand like Rafal and Agnes from Gdowski Photo and Skalar US.

Karolina + Dominik

There are some couples that you just can’t imagine being with anyone else, and Karolina and Dominik are certainly that way. They are just absolutely perfect together, and I rarely see a couple that have as much fun together as these two do. I was laughing throughout their shoot in August, and their wedding was no different! They and their families just have such a wonderful sense of humor that made the entire day a pleasure to shoot with ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills. Even the fact that they have to reschedule their reception place, was supposed to be in Camelot Banquet Hall ( but we all know what happened ), they was still quite excited and have a lot of fun in Bobaks Signature Event. Please enjoy !!!

Hwa + Aiman

I am so excited to share this wedding of Hwa and Aiman. They were married on a hot day in Turtle Bay Resort, Hawaii with reception for family and friends on one of the most unique place I have ever been – “Summer of George” cruise boat. Everything really felt intentional and so a reflection of this culture-loving couple. Everything was nuanced and thoughtful, with an ethereal and artistic quality to the day. They had lovely readings including a very sweet poem of Aiman’s fathers, which is included in this short film.
