11/11/11 was a coveted wedding date for couples across the country, and Monica and Deshawn felt especially blessed to be the fourth wedding wish granted by the Chicago Chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding.
Their love-story-25-years-in-the-making culminated on Friday, November 11th, as they celebrated their wedding day with their dearest family and friends at the beautiful Lincolnshire Marriott Resort.
The day started with Monica having a day of beauty with her daughter, family and friends. Monica and Deshawn chose to see each other before the ceremony and shared an intimate moment in front of the roaring fireplace at the resort.
The evening ceremony was officiated by a Deshawn’s aunt and was a ceremony of love, laughter and excitement for their future together.
The reception was beautiful and exactly what Monica and Deshawn had envisioned with flowers by Avante Gardenia, linens by Windy City Linen and a custom gobo with the bride and groom’s names and wedding date provided by Frost Lighting.
